Another one of my Grandma’s special jam-like chutneys that she made for special occasions while we were growing up.
3. Pickle පැණි:
A staple in our houses. Includes a few pieces of salted mango. Chop up some onions and capsicums , add a couple of dates (optional) for a Malay Pickle, or add a spoonful to fried brinjals and shallots to spruce up your mōju. Can be used as a delicious glaze for roast chicken as well.
